The motto Mens Sana in Corpore Saho -A Sound Mind in a Sound Body-, indicates that emotional health of students is very important to the school and community.
The school’s values Respect, Participation, and Accountability, were developed by the student body of 2002. They are the life blood of the school community. Students and staff live and breathe these on a daily basis. They help to develop positive attitudes and build character.
State High School is a Band 9 co-educational secondary school with a current enrolment of approximately 450.
