Our homestay program is based on our school values of Participation, Respect and Accountability.
All homestay providers caring for our students must have a Blue Card which is based on a criminal history check. It is important that our families offer our students a safe, stable and supportive environment.
Our host families reflect the diversity that is Australia. Some may have two parents who are working, some may have small children; some may have teenage children and some may have none. Some families are blended families, some are single, some are divorced and some are retired.
While it is important that all homes are clean and adequately equipped, they too vary in relation to the age of the home, size, style and distance from school.
Each family is unique and the Homestay Coordinator tries to match students to the
families that will best suit their needs. Our International team maintains open communication with both students and families.
